Adelaide landlords could benefit from signing shorter leases

Landlords in Adelaide may like the stability of long-term tenants, but Position Financial Services board member Ian Lloyd says landlords should consider increasing their rents or keeping leases shorter at just six months, instead of 12. This is because the rental market in South Australia’s capital is “in a frenzy” and a severe shortage of land release, along with an increasing population, is pushing rent prices up.
