FRUSTRATION is my main motivator in putting this blog together.

You see, I regularly consult to 50+ real estate offices employing over 500 people around the country and I’m dumb founded by the lack of knowledge these agents have about real estate marketing, branding and lead generation. The culture of ‘she’ll be right mate’ is prevalent amongst many of these offices and it deeply saddens me.

I know it’s not all their fault. I’m still amazed today with all our systems, training and technology that new agents start their careers with ‘here’s your desk, there’s the phone; now make some sales”! Why is this still happening?

Because the industry is still littered with ‘old dinosaur real estate owners’ who began their careers that way and have not improved their skills. They continuosly bark at their new recruits to do more door knocking, put out more flyers and make more cold calls. How soul destroying. No wonder so many potentially good agents leave an office or the industry in their first 3 months. They have had their spirits broken and their bank accounts ransacked. Those who do survive go on to average an annual wage of $25,000/year.

It’s not good enough and it’s definately not right!

My aim in this blog is to provide you with all the ammunition you need to break the chains of dependancy and truly stand up and become a ‘Super Agent’. During my time on the ‘front line’ I’ve transacted over 700 sales worth some $400 million in sales.
