ANZAC Day 2009 at Ashgrove, Brisbane

August 3 2010   2 Commented

The Royal Australian Artillery (RAA) Band leads the parade to Stewart Place, Ashgrove for the 94th Anniversary ANZAC Commemoration Service. The tune “Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines” was chosen to remember Australian airmen, in particular the Guest of Honour (Lindsay Richards) a Spitfire pilot in Britain during WWII.

Thanks @ChapmaniacPictures, I hoped that the image was suitably blurred so that young people’s faces were not identified – the audio does not do the band justice, they have a great sound each year.
