It has always been a common dilemma to choose between buying a home and renting one. Both have its significant advantages and disadvantages, but by carefully evaluating their benefits, you will have an easier time.
One of the most popular advantages for renting a home is the significant amount of money that you can save every month as opposed to the expensive down payment and amortization of buying a home. However, some experts believe that the difference between the duration of paying for these expenses post a significant difference.
Although the cost of down payment and amortization is higher than rental monthly fees, the house will eventually be your property. If you rent a home, you’ll remain a tenant as long as they occupy and pay for the monthly rates of the house.
Buying a house on the other hand can be very difficult if the family constantly moves from one place to another, therefore, it would be more practical for the family to rent a home instead. Buying a house would also mean spending on furniture and other amenities. New York is home for over 8 million residents; some of which are homeowners while some rent apartments and condominiums. In New York City, short term apartments are one of the popular choices for people who do not plan to stay for several months.
Renting can also save tenants the tedious task of maintenance and other housing commitments. In New York City, short term apartments provide mobility and freedom without the same cost as that of a family home. An apartment can also give the convenience of fewer attachments and requirements, as opposed to the tedious process of buying a home.
Being a homeowner is also considered a lifelong investment minus the attachments of paying a landlord. Some experts say people who rent will never be able to save money and would often end up renting for the rest of their lives. Other experts believe the main cause of debts in several countries include the inability to pay the monthly amortizations of homes plus the monthly charges of amenities like electricity and more. In several places, including New York City, short term apartments provide simple lifestyles with a less demanding environment.
