@BandwannaMcGunner
Sorry man just don’t like em’ I never have. Some of the bands i like play fenders, but i hav’nt liked em’ since i first played one when i was a teenager. I’#ve deleted the comment so as not to insult anyone

@Beatthemeat12
I guess. I don’t know why i just don’t like fender guitars, Nothing personal you understand

@FilGee100 How can you say you hate Fenders? Even if it’s not the type of guitar you personally like to play, the telecaster was the first mass produced electric guitar and is responsible for making them available to ordinary people like you and me. You can’t make a sweeping statement like you hate all Fenders, as though say a blacktop strat is the same as a vintage jazzmaster. And Hammett plays roadworn strats, you can see one in the I Disappear video.

I love the faces Justin XD

@FilGee100, you do realize that he is playing a soft Metallica song, this aint master of puppets. So a fender is jut fine for this song, Omar.

Does anyone know how Justin does that little mute right at the beginning (0:12)? He doesn’t mention it in the video but it sounds really badass

Does anyone know how Justin does that little mute right at the beginning of the solo (0:13)? He doesn’t mention it in the lesson but it sounds really kick-ass

I can already play this and i have to say that your doing it exactly right
a couple of criticisms,
1- I hate fenders and it’s no guitar to be playing Metallica on.
2 – Invest in a noise Gate
Apart from that great job your a good teacher.
Is that really your amp cranked because if it is there’s not much gain on it..
I reccommend Guitar Rig 4 Pro, You’ll thank me for it

This is the first solo I’m learning. Justin you make the best lessons. They are very easy to follow, well shot, well thought out and broken down into pieces that I can absorb. I’ve learned a lot from your website over the past month. You spread a little happiness throughout the world. People like you make it a better place. Thank you very much.

@TheKillerFabivs first half is good, second half you stay on the b string. 12 h 15 p12 then (Doug Boduch) /7 /5 h7 p5, (Danny Gill) or 9/7 h9 p7. I’ve seen both used, by those instructors, and they match up pretty close to the recording. doug you have to really look for (copyright infringement) but Danny is on lick library and easy to find.

December 28th, 2011 at 1:42 pm
Dude, you play it really weird, it doesn’t sound like the actual solo at all!
