@TakeAWalkDownAbbeyRd you can do a simple down up to start, check out some of the other youtube lessons on strumming and you’ll get a feel for how to do it. sorry this is unclear. I will include this in the lessonin the future

@Superpokefan2008 you can play simple quarter notes on the down beats, once you get that down solid with the singing, begin playing eight notes (down, up, down, up), then you can accent your eight notes. I realize this is confusing, but watch some other lessons on guitar strumming and you’ll get it. youtube has some awesome guitar lessons, just not many for simple beginning guitar.

My class just chose this as our song for the 2010-2011 school year. Our music director wants us to sing it and perform it at Masses on Friday for the school. I am the only guitar player in my class, so I am in charge of learning the song on guitar. This cover helped me a lot. Thank you so much.
