 Beyondblue is a national, independant, not-for-profit organisation working to address issues associated with depression, anxiety and related substance misuse disorders in Australia.

Much has been done but there is more to achieve:

• In Australia 1 in 5 people will experience depression at some time in their life
• Around 1 million adults and 100,000 young people live with depression each year
• Depression associate diability costs $14.9 billion annually with another 6 billion working days lost each year
• Depression costs over $600 million in treatment costs

At The Card Emporium we are on a mission to grow our card supplier’s daily printed output of 80,000 cards (up from 200/day in 2004) to over 1 million cards daily. That’s one million ‘promptings’ being acted upon daily. That’s one million cards being received ‘unexpectedly’ to boost the mood of a million people daily. Now that’s impact – in a positive way.

We need your help to achieve this.  We are going to be donating 10% of our profits to Beyondblue.
